Dallas Open Partners with Choctaw Casinos & Resorts
The Dallas Open, the premier indoor ATP Tour event in the United States, has secured Choctaw Casinos & Resorts as its official casino and resort partner. This strategic collaboration will bring a heightened level of hospitality and engagement to the tournament, which is set to debut at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco from February 1-9, 2025.
As the Dallas Open makes history by elevating to ATP 500 status, players will now compete for increased ATP ranking points and a prize pool of approximately $2.8 million USD. The tournament's rise underscores its growing prominence on the professional tennis calendar since relocating to North Texas in 2022.
A key feature of this partnership is the introduction of the exclusive Choctaw Club, marking Choctaw Casinos & Resorts’ first foray into professional tennis. Located within Ford Center, this premium space will offer Courtside Box holders a luxury experience, including free-to-play table games such as blackjack and craps, digital gaming kiosks, curated food and beverages, live music from a DJ, and the signature Choctaw Crush cocktail. Additionally, fans will be able to engage with Choctaw’s public hospitality area on Tostitos Plaza, which will host interactive experiences on select tournament days. The player entrance to Center Court will also prominently feature Choctaw Casinos & Resorts branding.
Tournament Director Peter Lebedevs emphasized the significance of this partnership in enhancing the overall event experience. “We are thrilled to partner with Choctaw Casinos & Resorts to deliver a world-class experience for tennis fans. The Choctaw Club will be a vibrant gathering space, and the activations on Tostitos Plaza will extend the excitement beyond the stadium walls, making this tournament truly immersive from the moment fans arrive.”
Heidi Grant, Senior Executive Officer of the Choctaw Nation, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in expanding Choctaw’s footprint in North Texas sports. “The Dallas Open is the region’s premier tennis event, and this partnership allows us to further showcase the elevated Choctaw experience. We take pride in bringing our premium hospitality to the world of tennis while strengthening our ties within the North Texas sports and entertainment landscape.”
Choctaw Casinos & Resorts has been a key player in the North Texas sports market since 2017, establishing partnerships with major franchises such as the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars. Their continued expansion includes the naming rights to Choctaw Stadium, home of the Arlington Renegades, reinforcing their commitment to high-profile sporting events in the region.
With this new partnership, the Dallas Open is set to deliver an enhanced experience for players and fans alike, solidifying its position as a must-attend event on the ATP Tour.
