One month from now, the world’s top tennis players will battle it out under the California sun at Indian Wells. The BNP Paribas Open, the largest combined ATP and WTA event, runs from March 2–16, drawing thousands of fans to the Palm Springs area. With scorching temperatures and back-to-back matches, one essential item is often overlooked sunscreen.

For the 2025 tournament, French skincare giant La Roche-Posay has been named the official sunscreen partner of Indian Wells. Backed by over 9,000 dermatologists and a member of the L’Oréal family, the brand is set to provide fans with top-tier sun protection as they endure two weeks in the unforgiving Coachella Valley heat.

Tennis fans may already be familiar with La Roche-Posay’s presence at major tournaments. Since becoming the official sunscreen partner of the US Open in 2022, the brand has actively promoted sun-safe practices at Flushing Meadows, offering free sunscreen, dermatologist consultations, and on-site activations.

La Roche-Posay’s rapid rise in the skincare industry reflects a growing demand for high-quality sun protection. In 2023, it was recognized as the fastest-growing skincare brand for the second consecutive year (2022–2023) and ranked first among the top 20 skincare brands in dollar sales growth over the same period. With its expanding footprint in professional tennis, the brand continues to blend science with sport, ensuring that players and fans alike stay protected under the sun.
